He, with his expertise in design, knowledge of furs, and media skills, combines with his brother David Antonovich, a master at management and marketing.

With their respective 40 years of experience in the fur industry, they founded Antonovich Furs and developed it into the third largest publicly held fur company in the United States during the 1980s. They built their business, Antonovich Furs, into one of the country's most innovative and successful retailers of fur garments, with their own hands and with a keen eye for the changing needs and roles of American women. Their love affair with fur took them from a tiny cottage manufacturing business in Queens, Long Island, becoming one of the best known and most respected fur retailers in the country.

They were the first to see a new fur age coming in the 1980s, with a new class of professional women, proud to be able to buy their own fur coat. They knew this market was destined to skyrocket to unimagined proportions, as more and more American women took their places in the business world. They made furs affordable for this new class of professional career women.

They pioneered an ambitious marketing campaign, using celebrities as spokespersons, featuring Daniel Antonovich on television, radio, and in print. The promotions, using the "Ahh ... Antonovich" theme, focused on great moments in a woman's life and celebrated them with the purchase of a fur coat. These successful marketing strategies, and the quality of the merchandise they were making available to the general public, made the Antonovich Brothers legendary in the annals of fashion marketing.
