Do you clean furs?
Yes. Our custom cleaning at Antonovich is what your fur needs
during the hot and humid months. We individually inspect each fur
to insure proper cleaning. Your coat should be cleaned once a
year with our advanced cleaning process. We remove dirt, dust,
perfume, makeup, and smoke odors which if not cleaned will
eventually cause drying and destroy your fur investment.
How many times should a fur garment be cleaned?
Furs should be cleaned a minimum of once a year. Normally they
do not look dirty but they need conditioning in order to keep
them soft and fresh. Cleaning is a dry process. It cannot damage
your fur - it will not shrink, discolor or change the shape of
your fur. When a fur is cleaned and glazed it will be softer
and shinier. However, the cleaning process will not remove
difficult stains from the lining.
What is Glazing and SilkGlow?
Glazing is a lusterizing process which contributes to the restoration
of the fur's softness, pliability and silkiness. Antonovich provides
this exclusive emollient texturizing service to maintain and restore
beauty and contribute to longevity of the pelts.
SilkGlow is a proprietary conditioning solution that is applied
on the outer fur which seals in the luster, adds maximum water
repellency and adds vitality. The SilkGlow process will give
the fur a rich look with a silky sheen, and it leaves your
fur soft and supple.
Do you clean leathers and shearlings?
Antonovich has the newest technology in giving you the best cleaning on
leathers and shearling garments.
Ultra Guard¬ is a deep penetrating protection process. Safe to use on
all fine apparel such as: suede, shearling, and even porous leather.
Protects against household stains, coffee, tea, wine, grease and food staining.
